Getting started with RealPlayer
It's easy to find out if you have RealPlayer installed on your system.
Simply try and listen to one of the stations using the RealPlayer
option. If you have RealPlayer installed, the music will start playing.
If you don't have it installed, you will be given information on
downloading it from the RealNetworks site.
If the music plays but the player stops at the end of the song,
you need to update your player to the latest version.
The easiest way to check is to open RealPlayer (In Windows it's
usually Start:Programs:Real:RealPlayer:RealPlayer)
When Real Player opens, on the top menu bar: click on "Help", then
click on "About RealPlayer." It will tell you the version in the
top of the box. If it is less than 8, under "Help" click on "Check
for Update" and it should download and install the new version. You
can also download it here.
There are two versions available. The free basic version, and the
plus version which will cost you money. The basic version works just
fine.
If you already know that you need RealPlayer, you can download
it from the RealNetworks Web site. There are two versions available.
The free basic version, and the plus version which will cost you
money. The basic version works just fine.
Once you've downloaded the installer, close all of your other programs,
and then run the installer. Follow all of its instructions until
the process is complete. Additional help with downloading and installing
RealPlayer is available on the RealNetworks
Service and Support site.
